Itinerary

The historic center of Naples is the beating heart of a Greco-Roman town that still keeps its narrow lines and old workshops, monumental churches and crowded squares. Due to its uniqueness, this area has been declared a Unesco world heritage site since 1995. This is the place where tourists can find the true spirit of the Neapolitan soul. The cathedral dedicated to the patron saint Gennaro, via San Gregorio Armeno, where the artisans work at the intricate scenes of the Nativity in their laboratories bursting full of religious items, the iconic “Spaccanapoli” and the monumental churches.

Along the way you can visit some small museums to choose from the following: the Treasure Museum of San Gennaro with its precious jewels, the spectacular Sansevero Chapel with the famous Veiled Christ, the Pio Monte della Misericordia with the evocative painting by Caravaggio inspired by works of piety, the Lapis Museum which is divided along one of the paths of underground Naples and the Cloister of Santa Chiara with its gardens decorated with splendid majolica.
